Hah. Depends on the fangirl. If it's an obsessive one who insists that she is the canon character's true love and made her own OC who replaced the canon love interest, I'd shove canon in her face and laugh. >:3

If it's just one who obsesses over the character, maybe doesn't like canon, but doesn't attempt to deface it, then I let them go on peacefully.

But that box doesn't apply to me, as my favorite character is a girl. xP I don't get anime crushes.
